Paramanu Recordings Inc was founded and established in Oct 2005 by James Shidell, who later brought along with him his business partner and good friend Christopher Purrinson to help jump start what we now call a very progressive indie label that is beyond anything ever seen before. The back bone of independently getting great music out to the world. We here at Paramanu Recordings Inc. believe in great free minded, fun music regardless of it's genre whether it be hip-hop, rock, alternative, jazz, instrumental, poetry, folk, country, etc. If its fresh, unique, and straight bangs you will find it in our catelog. The main purpose of starting Paramanu Recordings Inc besides being a life long dream of ours was to introduce the world to the wonderful talent and artists that James Shidell, and his partner Christopher Purrinson have had the pleasure to encounter throughout the many years of doing music. However, we don't work with just anybody. By eliminating the middle man and being the backbone of a great movement, doing stuff ourselves is what we strive in doing.
We don't believe in falling victims to fake A&Rs and label execs who turn true artists into glamarous glittered down rejects. We stay true, and so the artists on the label remain true. No fakes here. If you are fake, you won't roll with us. The artists on this imprint are who make Paramanu Recordings. It's their label. We try to listen to every artists demands and we try our hardest to meet and exceed those demands. We are all artists so we understand the many obsticles that can roadblock successs.
Those that work with us know our philosophy. We don't believe in signed contracts that cripple the artists ability to get stuff done. We have a very relaxed, no rush, take your time approach at things. 100% of the artist profits get back to them if they want it, and all rights to the music belong to the artists themselves. This is why we are a close knit family, a very special label that works with only our good friends and extended family (because they understand us). Those that believe in our philosophy and make incredibly good music roll on our team. Paramanu Recordings helps in many categories when it comes to the music industry. We help with major music distribution (digital & physical), booking shows/gigs, promotional runs, advertisement runs, label representation, etc. We support our artist 100%. We love our friends, and our music and want to bring incredible music to the fans. I hope you enjoy our progressive movement. It will be a whole lot of fun with a whole lot of crazy music.
